Michelle’s experience melds Silicon Valley with Wall Street. She has a track record driving innovative initiatives to success at the executive level backed by 20+ years of experience with financial services and technology. She is currently the CEO and Founder of MyMoneyButler.com and is passionate about helping people become smarter with their money.
A former banker and trader, Michelle’s started her career as a money center banker and later created exotic financial products for an international capital markets institution. This was followed by 7 years at Oracle including running the Financial Web and Mobile applications business, building that to global market leadership, and delivering it in more than 25 countries and 30 languages. At Ariba she led product management and marketing for the platform and a dozen products including the Ariba Network, now the world’s largest transacting network with $200+ billion in total annual spend across 130 countries. She has also led marketing and product groups for two consumer startups and created the award-winning social music game StompBox Tunes, which became a top Facebook application by generating audience engagement, and led RumbaFish, named one of the most innovative application companies in the world under $100 million. She is a self-taught web developer who would really rather write code than attend cocktail parties.
Michelle earned her BA at Northwestern and her MBA in Finance from Kellogg, is a member of the SF Bay Area alumni board, and leads their entrepreneurship affinity group. She is a proud graduate of the Founder Institute Accelerator and is a member of their Mastermind Group of Graduates (top elite 1% globally). A sought after speaker on personal finance and technology, she is adept at presenting to large groups in high impact situations.
